A dear friend of mine :iconharogirl: has commissioned me to do some Gundam Fantasy character sheets for. I have recently given her permission to put them on her site. So, I'm going to start taking the pieces off of my site, so more people will fave them on her site. Check out her site and all the artists that have done stuff for her, you won't be disappointed :D Not only is there artwork, but there are also turnarounds and facial expressions.

I recently saw Paranormal and I went in not knowing what I was in for. Don't worry, there are no spoilers, so don't BAW! This is a commentary on movies filmed via home video or Blair Witch copy cats. One might think this is an awesome idea since its low budget and thus creates a large profit- if it weren't for the fact that it could make people sick.
After seeing Flight 93, I finally realized I couldn't handle that kind've filming in theatres. There are so many elements in the theatres that could cause people to get sick, one of them being the smell of popcorn. I always get nauseous when I walk into the theatre and my senses are attacked with the aroma of butter and popcorn (I usually wonder how I'm convinced to go the movies with my family knowing this). So, I'm already nauseous, then I go into a movie, thinking I'm going to watch a normal movie and then once I see the picture, that's when I'm just "aww fuck, its one of these!" I had my eyes closed during most of the movie, not during the scary parts- just the parts where the camera was in constant motion. Needless to say, I did in fact run to the bathroom and my stomach has been relieved of my meals throughout the day. My mom and I were eating soup, milk and tea to help settle our stomachs.
I'm saying this because I'm afraid a lot of producers are going to want to go that route, since doing these kinds of movies is cheap. I'm amazed I didn't throw up during Cloverfield- but I got close. Seriously, these movies aren't that great and to be honest, do not have much of a story to them. And these movies can be hard to take for a lot people, when they're shown on a large screen and in the dark. I can watch it just fine on a normal TV or on youtube, but in the theatre?
I will admit its an interesting idea, but it'll backfire when more of your audience finds themselves heading to the bathrooms because they can't take the camera motions.

Well… it was a learning experience. It was their first Comic Con up in Long Beach, the economy sucks and it was the wrong audience. I need to be at an anime convention- where most of my likely audience resides. Neither :iconblix-it: and I did well. I was a bit of a drama queen when things started to look bad, but I'm getting over it. It doesn't turn me off from going to conventions, I need to go to the right one- one failure is just the next step to success- whooo… optimism. Well, I'm going to start selling stuff on eBay and see how that goes, just to get rid of some inventory.
I'm going to try to recover from this convention, emotionally and economically, and prepare for the next convention sometime in the future next years.
Otherwise, it was nice hanging out with :iconblix-it: and :iconmelii:. It makes the experience a lot nicer when you're with friends.

I am nervous…… I'll be doing my very first Artist Alley. I really hope it goes well ^^; Hopefully I'll sell a lot. But getting ready for it has really taught me a lot. One lesson being, pay someone else to make the bookmarks and other merch. The only things I'll do is shrinky dink ( cause that's fun) and the prints. But that was lesson number one. Lesson number two: inkjet gloss paper go in inkjet printers– not laser, the prints didn't turn out all that great. I'm sure I'll learn more about Artist Alleys at the show- I'm so excited. Oh yeah, and I'll going with :iconblix-it:, that'll be fun. I think this is something I want to pursue in the long term, especially if it goes really good. And I'll be working for myself and who doesn't love that. This will be fun and I hope to find more people to do conventions with me in the future.
